*** Update: Registration for the 2018 meeting is now closed. If you have any questions regarding the meeting, please contact Andrey Proshutinsky (aproshutinsky@whoi.edu)
The major goals of the 2018 Meeting are to coordinate activities, report accomplishments, exchange ideas and hypotheses, enhance international arctic studies collaboration and discuss plans for continuing work beyond 2019.
The meeting will take place at the Quality Hotel Edvard Grieg, Bergen, Norway from October 23-26, 2018. Room costs are moderate and include 3 meals. The hotel is located just a few kilometers from the Bergen Airport at a very nice location. The Bergen city center can be reached relatively easy with some walking and the city-train. More details about the costs and logistics will be available later.
Please note that participation is limited by space and funding considerations. Apply early!
*** Note for students planning to attend school: The 2018 School for New Arctic Investigators encourages applications for travel support. We generally place a higher priority on those who: (i) are new to and seem likely to contribute to the goals of our projects and/or (ii) have previously attended and shown active participation. Please apply early! This will allow us to arrange travel at reasonable costs and thus maximize the number of students we can accept. More info about the school agenda coming soon!
